Who is Wordzine?
Wordzine Pty Ltd is a software company based in Canberra, Australia.
Wordzine is the creator of Ezyzine, a web-based community newspaper and website publishing system. Wordzine was founded in November 2005 with a vision to enhance independent publishers businesses through the power of the internet.
Wordzine has a strong community newspaper heritage. Since August 2004 the team has published "The Word" a free, 40-page, full colour, monthly. Typically, 38,000 copies are printed for each issue and distributed to over 850+ monitored sites across Canberra and surrounding regions. Many of the ideas for Ezyzine came from the real-world requirements of The Word.
Wordzine was originally backed by a small number of committed Angel investors. The company welcomed their first institutional investor onto the share register in mid-2007.
